your cars. your stories.
Memories begin in the garage. My Dad always said cars have a soul, and we believe every one of them has a story. American Idle Garage is proud to share the cars, memories, and stories of our friends and fellow enthusiasts.

Ken’s 1972 Pontiac GTo
Had to start our Memories page with one of Dad’s
“This car was fun. Whenever I was down, I could just start it up and my heart would get going. The rumble could set off car alarms.”

Tim & Bonnie’s 1965 Buick Riviera
“In 1971, we went to look at an orange ’69 Nova. It wasn’t there but we happened to see a pretty gold car. It was a ’65 Buick Riviera GS! Bought it and still have it!”

Dennis’ 1965 Chevrolet Impala
This car could always be seen at a show or cruise-in. A project with his brother-in-law, this car was his pride and joy. It’s the one that got away. Sold several years ago, he still talks about it to this day.
